Santuario gastronómico

A fruit that feeds you and leaves a mark.

Our symbol is the jagua, Genipa americana, a fruit of these warm Colombian lands. It is eaten fresh, turned into drinks and preserves, and for centuries its juice has been used to paint skin: clear when it touches you, deep blue-black a day later.

That is what we want a stay at Bápqua to be. A table that feeds you in the moment, and a place that stays with you after you leave.

Why Bápqua

A sanctuary built around the table

  1. The table first

Colombian origin cooking, served at one long table or cooked over fire a few steps from the river.

  2. Warm mountains

Villeta sits at about 850 m, around 24 °C (75 °F) all year. Trade the cold of the Sabana for forest, river and panela country.

  3. Quiet by design

Six cabins on three hectares of forest. Few guests, long mornings and the sound of the river.
